my god, i am in love.

he’s smart. handsome. cute. tall. fair. intelligent (a super genius!). innocent.charming. curious. caring. fascinating. adorable. a fast reader (i’m a fast reader too, but he’s way way faster than i am!). an artist (oil pastel). logical. mathematical. loyal. a fighter….and so on…

aww…i’m smiling yet again as i type this.

everytime i see him i’m wearing a goofy, very silly grin. ear-to-ear, honestly. and it does not look good on me, i promise. but what the hey! he makes me smile—grin! he’s so amusing, sometimes without intending to. he’s so innocent, i want to hug him and protect him from the evils of this world (reversal of roles eh?). he’s so intelligent, i want to touch my head to his and let osmosis do the rest. or at least stay with him all the time, it’s the same thing with osmosis. i want to be with him all the time. but it can’t be. we have to stick to our schedules, you know. the rest of the week, i think about him and eagerly anticipate the next time we meet.

kyle.

he’s so sweet!

i love you kyle! [grins foolishly again]

for those who are out of reach, outside the earth, living in seclusion, have no signal, have no tv, don’t care…kyle is the star of the excellent tv series kyle xy. i have uploaded the pictures—you can see them below—so you know how he looks like. better yet, you watch him on studio 23 every wednesday, 8:30 pm. and be charmed. but beware, he’s mine. mine!

i can’t tell you the story thus far, it’s too complicated. kyle is a sixteen-year-old boy who awoke somewhere in washington and has no memory of his past whatsoever. no knowledge of anything. doesn’t know how to speak, to eat…he acts on instinct alone.he was taken into a shelter (or so it seemed) then taken home by a psychologist. he has lived with them (the psychologist mother, the intuitive father, the poor teenage girl, the normal american teenage boy) ever since (or at least until the fifth episode).

he’s so brilliant. he can recover computer files from crashed computers, answer difficult scientific-mathematical equations, slide his eyes down a page and the next and memorize everything. in the fifth episode he answered a high school entrance exam within 30 minutes and got full marks. he read the all the volumes of the world book encyclopedia in one day, plus some ten to twenty more books. wow. i wish i had your abilities, liebchen.

he also draws…uniquely. he rapidly taps the oil sticks on the paper until he makes a picture. his artwork is always designed on what he has seen, by the way. and the said picture is (almost) a perfect reproduction of the scene. really.

he has a love interest, by the way. and that’s me, haha. in the series, he falls for a girl that he first knew through the piano. he was walking down the garden when he heard beautiful music. so he went into the house where the music comes from and saw her. the girl turned around and was startled, so was he, and he ran out of the house. and the rest is history. but unfortunately the girl has a boyfriend. so my darling was heartbroken and he turned to me =). he was quite brave and admirable about it. he accepted it, thinking that the girl really belonged to the boyfriend. and that people and things belong to someone or some other thing. a naïve view, but he can’t help it. he has to interpret things as they look to him, because he had no memory, no knowledge of things beforehand. aww, so innocent my darling. he may be smart…he knows facts (he said it), but he asks questions like “why do people act like that?”

plus everytime he smiles, my heart constricts. he has a charming smile, charming in its innocence, in its sincerity. he smiles slowly and his face lights up.

ah, kyle. i am falling more and more in love with you everytime i see you. my heart broke when i learned that the series has currently only 33 episodes—10 for the first season and 23 for the second including a (gasp!) finale—and that it plans to be on hiatus until early 2008 (in america! what about the philippines? i must migrate! i must go to america!)…wahh. i was searching for the dvds in quiapo in vain. wahh. so if you are kind enough to give them to me, or at least tell me where i can buy them—original or otherwise (i can and will save for the original copies! just tell me where to buy!), i am forever grateful.

ahh kyle. wahh.

also, he seems to have a penchant for lying in bathtubs. well, if i have a bathtub, i would’ve lain on it long ago too. =)

n.b. his coloring somehow resembles that of tom cruise, my mild hollywood crush a long long time ago—first year high. i liked his looks on “the firm”…now, ergh. and the color of kyle’s eyes…i can’t make it out. sometimes they’re gray, sometimes green, sometimes blue. basta. see for yourself.

n.b. 2. i love kyle, not matt dallas. kyle. matt looks old. kyle has lines on his face that look charming, especially those on the outer sides of his eyes. hell, even the lines on his forehead are charming. however did matt manage to look that young?

my smile stretches from ear-to-ear as i watch him. my smile is much much wider the other days of the week, when i am foolishly recalling his amusing antics. then my smile degenerates into a frown when i realize that it will be some ___ days before i see him again. hey, have you met someone who could make you smile even when he’s not doing anything to make you happy? just the fact that he exists makes you very very happy…isn’t that something? =)
